This is why I came to the death valley dunes. I wanted to capture it while basking in the early morning sun. The low horizon creates a warm glow that is reflected on the sand - giving it that reddish hue, somewhat similar to what is over there in the Sahara.

Great capture the depth and the morning red sand just blew my mind,truly a stunning capture.
Really beautiful.... it somehow reminds me of an early morning at Pismo Beach, CA. without the mountains in the backgrounds though.
